I figured I should give it a shot. I learned a lot during the process, and had some help from Chris. Thank God. We had a fussy toddler trying to get our attention throughout most of the prrocess so that made things difficult. The icing I used was the "fluffy" kind that you buy from a store because it's my favorite fall-back frosting, BAD idea. It's really sticky and not good for making a smooth surface, but I still love it for textured cakes and cupcakes.

I'm calling this cake a rustic, country garden wedding cake. If you have never tried this, and you like baking and love a good challenge it would be worth it to have a new experience like this!
