Hi I am planning on a Jan 2011 wedding with a mild 1940s look- my man already picked a zoot Tux to go with my Gracy Lynette maggie dress.  Just found bridesmaids dresses that are 40's also by Bill Levkoff!!!

I am happy to be amoung you all talented DIY retro brides and look forward to sharring ideas!

    I'm new to the planning too!  Love getting new ideas, and of course more things to add to my DIY list! :)  Do you have a pic of your 1940's bridesmaid dresses?  I'm trying to go for the 40's as well.  And I love Maggie dresses! Mine is a Maggie as well!  :) Happy planning!
