Letterpress, anyone?

I am a sucker for letterpress.  *sigh*  I love the look and feel and, given that we're marrying at an historic in (first built in the 1700s), an invitation suite using letterpress will help tie everything together.

Thank goodness the wedding isn't until July, b/c I have not yet found an exact design that makes me happy.  I have narrowed in on three vendors, Smock, Dauphine and Elum.  If you are using letterpress invitations and can enthusiastically recommend any other vendors, please let me know.

Thank you!

  • I wish I could afford letterpress invites!  I did find some I really loved, but I don't remember the vendor, if I come across it I'll let you know.

Smock and Bellafigura were the 2 that I seriously considered rearranging my budget for before I decided to buy a house!  I found them to be more antique/vintage looking then some of the other vendors that have a more modern element to their work.

What did you finally choose?  I'm still holding out for letterpress, but since our wedding isn't until July, I don't have to give up trying until Mar/Apr.  Ha!

Thanks for the heads up.  I appreciate it!  I've never had good luck trying to find things in these bios, so I'll head to her blog.
