I know a lot of you read the blog
Ruffled, and if you don't, you should! Some really great ideas. Okay, so the latest post has a really awesome alternative bouquet idea. So...I am not a huge flower person. I think they're pretty, but the idea of spending a ton of money a bouquet I will hold for like a half hour I can't wrap my head around. I've seen some alternative ideas that I didn't care for too much, including feather bouquets and button bouquets. Meh. Didn't ring my bells. I think I might want to do a ribbon pomander for my flower girl (because I am NOT cleaning rose petals out of the sand after the ceremony) But I saw this idea and I think I might really like it....expensive flowers that will wilt in the Los Angeles heat, not so much, but vintage sparkly flower brooches, YES PLEASE! I'm not sure if it's something that I want to do or not, but I think I like it. Here are some pictures, and voice your opinions! What are you doing for your bouquet? How do you want to make it vintage?
