I was wondering if anyone had any ideas to help us out with our theme. I have searched the boards but just haven't quite found what I am looking for yet. We are trying to do a classic romantic 1940's Audrey Hepburnish wedding.
Our wedding colours are black, white and silver
The bridesmaids are wearing black coctail dresses (alfred angelo BM style 6455 in black) With black satin evening gloves and thick rhinestone bracelets.
Our centerpieces are black and crystal candle chandeliers on black table clothes with white chair covers and black sashes. We have collected pictures of all of our familiy member son their wedding day and have put them in silver frames and will display them near the car box. Our card box is a vintage piece of pottery created by my FI great grandfather. Our Emcees are dressing up as Audrey Hepburn and Frank Sinatra and we have chosen Steve Tyrell, Frank Sinatre, Ella Fitzgerald music to start things off.
We are hosting a cocktail reception and are happy with the menu and will have an open bar. In addition to this we are doing a martini bar where guests can make a martini (recipes will be provided) and a box of cigars.
We were wondering if anyone had any other ideas for us? We really want that high end vintage feel but are not sure what else to have.
