I want a cute garter, something to surprise Tom with that he will really enjoy. I started seeing sports teams garters and I found this, a Chicago Bears garter on Etsy. There are a bunch of them and they rotate, so I probably won't end up with this exact one, but isn't it cute?? And it actually matches. Notice our colors are peach and tiffany blue? A girlier version of Bears colors? That was no accident, sadly. Anyway, is this a cute idea? (If it hasn't become obvious, he's a big Bears fan, we're both originally from Chicago) I'm only worried it will show through a dress. But I don't think that'll happen, because the material will be at least a little thick and I want a tiffany blue crinoline...sorry got lost fantasizing about pretty dresses...Sooo, there that is. Can you tell I'm on a mission to get this board cookin?

haha yes i can sure tell! that garter is very cute! im planning on doing something similar for FI but not for a sports team. hes big into hunting and fishing and outdoorsy things adn he alwasy jokes with me about how much camo he woudl decorate our house in if he could, so im going to get a camo garter set. i cant wait to see how much he laughs when he takes that off :P

Great Job Kitka! Sure the one day I have computer issues the board is going. LOL. I too am doing a dallas cowboys garter for FI. He has been a cowboys nut since age two PIP if you want to see it. I love your too!

If, by some chance, your garter does show through under your dress then just keep it in your little purse and put it on right before the garter removal. 

I was just looking at garters on etsy yesterday.  I think I'm going to DIY.
