Music. We can't stop listening to our 1930s/40s playlist!

What wedding-related project are you tackling this November?

Everything! The wedding is this month and 20 days away, woohoo! My MOH still does not have a dress so that's probably the biggest project to tackle.

Tell us about/let us see your makeup inspiration (or actual makeup).  Is it retro/vintage inspired?

I don't have an inspiration image, but I want brown/gold eyes and red lips. A natural look with a little pop. The red lips is vintage inspired because it fits the time period but it really brings out my eyes. I'm still searching for the perfect shade... red but not vixen red.

What's your latest retro/vintage idea/inspiration? 
Lace. I just bought a lace jacket with a stand up collar to Victorianize my dress, and I'm taking the BMs out this month to look for lacy dresses. 

What wedding-related project are you tackling this November? 

Trying to get our cake & caterer booked. The caterer is SO SLOW at getting back to me with questions. It is really getting on my nerves.

I'm going to be doing very natural makeup with soft pinks and browns. I don't even have any pics yet for inspiration, so thanks for reminding me! I do have some hair pics, so I will post those instead

i had airbrush makeup done, with fake eyelashes adn such. it was pretty soft and natural...i didnt want anything crazy

I am planning on using my vintage fiestaware on all the tables to add to my vintage picnic theme. Here's a photo of some random fiesta to give you an idea of colors.




My collecting friends are going to help me with suppling all the table tops with vintage linens.

What's your latest retro/vintage idea/inspiration?

For some reason i've taken inspiration from Alice in wonderland.. the way they dress prior to Alice falling into the hole. Really soft pale colors with buttons and lace and curly hair.

What wedding-related project are you tackling this November?

Planning our budget and starting to book photographers, caterers, and getting engagement photos taken.
