peacocks AND pinwheels??

Hey ladies, I need a bit of advice.  My wedding is slowly morphing to becoming a little more vintage. The dress I picked was vintage inspired, I love the short net blusher veils and floral fascinators, etc.
However, I am currently very enamored with the DIY pinwheels.  My fiancé and I are very whimsical and energetic people, and I love the feeling the photos with lots of pinwheels have.   I think I'm becoming too spread out across the board.  The centerpieces look like this:http://www.polyvore.com/wedding_flowers/set?id=25626799
I already have the lanterns because we found them relatively cheaply en bulk, and my mother and I are doing the centerpieces.  Is there ANY way to incorporate the pinwheels with this peacock/lantern thing we already have going?
Help!  I don't want this wedding to be a theme explosion.......
