So......

I fell in love with the Anemones flowers (thanks to your Bios) I know a few of you will have them on your wedding day, can one of you ladies tell me if they are indeed expensive flowers, I will be using flowers but I'm on a budget and so if they are to expensive I don't want to get my hopes up.
 TIA!!!

Re: So......

  • My local florist told me they are about $4 or $5 a stem. That's not that bad if you're just using them in your bouquet, but it can get expensive. You can try mixing them with other flowers. I'm not sure if you're planning on decorating your cake with them, using them in bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnierres or anything else, but check with ALL of your local florists and see what they come up with. :)

  • Something you may want to be careful of--there are really two different types of anemonies.  The "asian" kind have yellow/green centres, and the other (european?) have that dark inky centre.  For some reason, all the flower wholesalers I found online only have the asian ones. :(
