Lots of DIY - ring pillows, garter, etc.!

I know this post might make it look like I've been a busy bee, but this is really over a span of 2-3 weeks and I've just been too lazy to take the pictures!
Sorry - I know most of this is not vintage - but the garter is! I used a milkglass pin I got from Etsy.
I just updated my bio - so check my "diy" section for more info. But here's some pics because I love PIP posts so much:

I'm going to cut out the bottom of the hanger out and glue it into a wood hanger like shellbell026 on my Oct 2010 board, though. This one can only hold ~2 lbs and I used hardware 12 gauge wire. My hands hurt for a full day afterwards.
Since I'm being an AW, here's a NWR project I also did - a sewing machine cover - with pockets!

Yep, I embroidered the bird! I thought it needed a little something... the sides and back are pretty plain! I used a Martha Stewart template though and drew it on with a fabric pen.
