Oh so cute. We're actually thinking of doing it ourselves, since lord knows I drink enough wine to get more than enough corks to practice on and then do a DIY project. But like all my DIY ideas this will probably fall to the wayside and I will order them. So thanks!

Definitely do them yourselves! I used a non-serrated kitchen knife to cut off the bottom so they sit flat and FI will use an exacto knife to cut a slit in the top!!

Yeah I think it will be a fun project and a way to justfiy my drinking. Look I have to drink all these bottles or we won't have enough corks!! And it's a way for people to see all the different kinds of wine you like.

I bought my wine cork placecard holders from Deidra at Corkey Creations.  I love them and she was great to work with!  I personalized them with our monogram and our date...check them out, pics are in my bio under Details.

I plan on making ours and I plan on using corks in my center pieces also! I have been having friends and family saving all their wine corks since June! 

I think it will be a fun project for me!

I was given the idea to glue a penny to the round side of the cork to help them to sit easily.  Also, the venue you are going to probably has a zillion corks from their wine tastings.  They had bottles and corks for free for our use if we wanted them!
