Our Story:
A couple of days after I came back from Paris, a mutual friend of ours brought me to the ice rink to meet some of her friends. Brian was one of them, and let me tell you, it was love at first sight - for him. So there I am, poorly trying to skate away from this friend of a friend, who was clearly the best skater on the ice. Whether or not I wanted to, we got to know each other a bit, and I found out that he was sharp, witty, intelligent, and, oddly, a grammar snob like myself. Afterwards, the whole large group of us went out to what became the usual restaurant, and he, sitting at the other head of the long table, had his his phone number passed all the way down - into my hands. I didn't call him that night or the next, but he was kind of persistent (and boy am I glad that he was!). A couple of weeks later, however, he invited me to hang out, and he showed me what a really sweet, relaxed, kind, and easy to talk to guy he is. He picked a movie for us to watch, The Princess Bride, which happens to be one of my favorite movies of all time. Since then, we've been working on our own 'Happily Ever After'....
