We love the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables and pursued having our day there...they were available & pricing was right... unfortunately the coordinator Natalia has still yet to respond to my email I sent 5 days ago that says we'd like to book the place and put a deposit down.. (and called her twice that day... ). Such a shame for a nice property to have dismal customer service. I'm sure I could chase this gal down, but thinking of working closely with someone for my big day... I need someone who is available and willing to respond.
On a very different note - I must give huge credit to Chely at the Coral Gables Congregational Church... she responded to me immediately, called to clarify some things very quickly, offered a few great bits of advice (wedding day timing and time of sunset on our day.... didn't occur to me yet that it'd set at 540pm in December!) and was so pleasant to speak with - would be a delight to work with.
