HI Everyone,
Quickly wanted to give the vendor reviews from my wedding to help out future bride:
Location: The Bath Club -
A really great ambiance, esp. for smaller weddings (under 60) if you can use the Governer's Lounge. Great for photos.
DJ (My husband + our IPOD):
C. Poor Fabio took the job so seriously and we decided to make our own soundtrack. The problem was that the acoustics in the Bath Club were not great. HOWEVER, if someone at the Bath Club had known more about it or if we had designated someone at the wedding to keep a hand on it, it would have worked perfectly.
Food: Lyon & Lyon -
A++++++ Our wedding food was so amazing. Everyone is still talking about it. We had a four coursse dinner (+ passed apps and wedding cake) and the portions and everything were so good. He is the owner of Fratelli Lyon in the Design District.
Dress: The White One (by Pronovias): C: on one hand I loved it but my dress tore TWICE BEFORE my wedding. It was not so bad...noone noticed but still! I think it might have been a knock off...I knew the price was too good to be true so I guess you pay for what you get but the truth was it was the only design I found that I liked with my veil (which was cathedral and was the main point of my dress).
Mini-Honeymooon: The Standrad - A+++ - They were so great. We had too many people from out of town to go on a real honeymoon but we spent the wedding night and day after at the Standard and they let us go on the day of the wedding as well to their spa. That was a really good decision...we thought we ddin't want to see each other on the day of the wedding but everything was so hectic that it was nice for a couple hours in the morning to sit in the spa together and gossip about what had happened so far at the wedding, lol.
Florist;

will not mention his name because he actually threatened us (!) so please don't mention in any responses to the post either but let me just suffice to say, do a background check and a BBB check on your florist. On one hand it was a shame because what he did do was beautiful but then when we confronted him on the parts he didn't do he reacted really horribly.
Cake: Nirvana Patisserie:
devika3@mac.com: A+++ Our wedding cake was amazing, not expensive and he was so nice and easy to work with.:
OK, last tip: If you have a chiffon dress and for some reason you get a spot on it DO NOT rub it hard with a tide stick, lol.
OK, hope this helps and good luck everyone with your weddings!
