Recommendations for Kosher Weddding Venues

Hi Everyone,

I've alread posted this on the Jewish Boards and they told me to post over here :)

I live up north in Boston but am planning to get married in South Florida (Boca, West Palm Beach, Miami areas and in between).

Since I am unfamilar with the area and require a kosher venue (or a venue that allows an outside caterer) I was hoping people might be able to help.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
J

I know this is probably silly but I've been to a ton of Bar and Bat Mitzvah's at a pretty popular ceremony/reception venue called Benvenutos. I'm not sure if the food was kosher but it's worth checking into since I have attended at least 6 Jewish events there:

Hope this at least gets you started!

I've abandoned my post - totally been wrapped up with work! Sorry!

To answer a few of the questions:

    1. I haven't figured out who will marry us yet, I will most likely import our family rabbi or a rabbi I know from growing up (both of who are in NY).

    2. I would like to the ceremony and reception to be at the same place as we are doing a very traditional Jewish ceremony with all the traditional elements (like a bedeken, etc.)

Any additional suggestions would be awesome! I'll look into the ones noted.

    Thanks,
    J

    Hi Ladies!

Do you mind sharing some of the venues you found in the past couple months? We are also having a kosher wedding and I'd love to have the ceremony and reception in the same place. Idealy the ceremony would be outside by the beach, in a garden or other neat outdoor venue in Ft. Laud/Miami. I'm from SoFla but haven't lived there in a while so I'm running short on ideas. I would love any suggestions!

    Thanks so much!
