Which Month??

I am about to decide on a venue in Islamorada for either February or March of next year. The ceremony and reception will both be outside. What month do you think would have better weather? (less chance of rain?)

less chance of rain, probably February ... less chance of it being "cold", probably March ...

If rain is an issue then I would pick February. The only issue with March is the possibility of showers. My best suggestion to you would look at the Old Farmer's Almanac and look at these both months. It will give you a weather pattern for the past 5 years and see how the weather is for when you want your wedding to be.

determing the "rain" and deciding based on that wont help fully tho.  Pick the date that you feel best.  We picked our date for the end of april ... for the 3 weeks before our wedding, including the morning of, it POURED!!! .... at around noon, the skies cleared and youd never know there was a cloud ni teh sky .... so chances of rain can change no matter the frequency of the month or hte trends of the month ... just alwyas have a plan b ....

I agree with PP... our wedding was in February. I had picked that month because of weather reasons and the week up to our wedding it poured every single day! I cried a few times because of it also (silly, I know) but luckily on the day of our wedding there was no rain.

I think it's hard to predict weather in South Florida... so go with which date you feel best and definitely try to have a plan B.
