I'm now thinking about going to Jamaica. I am willing to spend a little more to have an unforgettable honeymoon. I would rather be safe and spend a little more money then go somewhere that is not safe and spend less. That being said I am now thinking about Jamaica. I have been looking at the couples resorts and reading reviews on them. They all seem to have great reviews. There are Couples Negril, Couples Swept Away Negril, Couples Tower Isle which is in Ocho Rios, and Couple Sans Souci Ocho Rios. Has anyone been to any of these and which ones would you prefer? I really do not know what the difference between Negril and Ocho Rios any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

Negril is on the west side of the island and has seven miles of beaches and loads of options for water sports. Ocho Rios is in the north is where you'll find the 'real Jamaica', fishing villages, Dunns River Falls etc but you've still got nightlife. I would say look at Couples San Souci - it is one of Jamaica's top AI resorts and is a great option for honeymoons. Plus an awesome spa!

We are going to Montego Bay, so I'll let you know how we like. I am really excited though.

I went to Sandals in Ocho Rios. It was beautiful and there were plenty of activies to do within a short drive of the resort. We went on the resort sponsored tours. They were more expensive but they felt safe. The drawback of Ocho Rios is the beaches are anything too special. If you want a nice huge beach, go to Negril. If you want to do more exursions, go to Ocho Rios.

We stayed at Couples Tower Isle for our honeymoon and it was AMAZING!!! I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. Everyone we had talked to there said Tower Isle was their favorite. We are going to try and go for our 1 year anniversary this year as well.

We are headed to Couples Isle Tower in 24 days! I am getting super excited!!!!

My parents went to Couples Swept Away last August and thought it was amazing. My best friend went to Couples Negril and loved it as well. My parents and my friend said the staff went out of their way to make sure you were welcomed and had everything you ever could want. I hope Isle Tower is the same way - the reviews are amazing.

MandyandMike - any recommendations on what to bring and what to do or what not to do at Isle Tower???
