Are you a Jewish bride in need of a chuppah???

Hi ladies,

my wedding is in 2 weeks (yikes!). I don't have any pics yet but was thinking about selling our chuppah after the wedding. Just curious to see if there would be any interest out there in it. It's being built by a friend of my sister's. It will be very simple, the perfect canvas to add whatever you want to it. It is wood (pine i think) and it's stained a reddish brown. It's 8ft X 8ft and we are tying a large tallith to the top so you can put anything you want there. I don't have a price just yet (he will give us the final total when the work is complete this week). I'm mostly seeing if anyone would be interested at this point? just post here and I'll contact you via PM with details when I have them!

I definitely would be, but I'm not sure how much those usually run- we can't really afford to pay hundreds of dollars

I looked into renting one and the websites that said "cheap" were about $700 for the minimum package. If I sell mine it would probably be for cost which will be less then $300. Or right around that. PM me your email address if you are interested and I will send you some pics after the wedding. My wedding is june 24th so you might want to send me a reminder a week or so after that since my brain isn't retaining stuff right now!
