Dress update

So... remember how I said last month that I went to change the neckline of my dress and she cut the dress while it was on me and you all re-assured me it will be ok???...

WELL... I freaking love it!  I cried when I saw it even before I put it on.  It was PERFECT! I'm so happy with it!

I'm just so glad that it came out better than perfect!

Hi Candish! was this done by Reina? Because I want to do the same thing! my dress is strapless but i really want sweetheart but didnt know if it was possible! do u mind sharing about how much is to make an alteration like this? bc i was also worried about pricing..i just have to do this and cut it shorter bc i dont want to drag the dress. TIA!

karyan30:  No it wasn't done by Reina, but apparently for an experienced seamstress it's not that difficult.  To change my top, hem the bottom and a few other alteration it's around $300.  I would just call your seamstress or make an appointment with her to discuss your options.  When I went to talk to mine the first time, I wasn't sure if it was possible either, but I'm very glad I decided to talk to her about it because I'm much happier now with the dress than before.HTH
