Anyone doing uplights at there venue?

If so how much are you paying? My place is giving me 8 but I am going to need to rent more... Anyone have some insight?

Hi and welcome!

Uplighting can be pinspotting or for the architecture, it depends what kind. I'm doing uplighting with the Design Studio at my venue. I know a lot of girls like to use uplighting from their DJs, like Liquid DJs or Vision DJs if I'm not mistaken.

My DJ offers uplighting but I'm not using any...sorry i'm no help.  But you might want to check with your DJ - it may be less expensive than the venue! GL

My dj has 8 uplights for the floors. But was looking for an average price so that I could know what would be a good deal or not, thanks!

My DJ is doing my uplighting... they run about $25 per light (Liquid DJ has them for $15, but you have to have 20 minimum..)... however, I was able to negotiate with my DJ and lower them a little... but i got LED lights.. which you can adjust more and they're better quality!

I say they are about 20-25 per light, going by what I've heard so far. My DJ offers them for $15.00 a light but minimum of 20 like the previous poster stated

I'm getting mine through my DJ-Liquid DJ's.  They require a 20 minimum, but depending on your room that seems to be average.
