any1 doing candle centerpieces?

I'd really like to have centerpieces that are basically a bunch of candles, perhaps floating on a tall vase or a pillar candle inside a hurricane vase and some votives, etc. However, the cost for 15-18 tables of all this stuff is just way too much. I'm wondering if anyone is interested in doing something similar for their wedding and perhaps we can "collaborate" on what we buy or if your wedding is after February 13, if you'd be interested in buying some of what I just described.Alternatively, is this kind of thing something that people rent?

that's what we did, and it's actually way cheaper than buying flower centerpieces... hit up the dollar tree for vases

Have you tried LO Florists Supplies. I got most of my vases from there. GREAT Prices. PIB! try them. If anything, I'm selling my vases and candle holders at the end of the wedding. If interested let me know. :-D HTH!

bluebook, I've been thinking about doing Candelabras on the high tables.  I found a wholesaler in New Jersey where they sell them.  They run about $150-$200 each, but I plan on reselling them later.  I got the idea from someone on wedding bee and she was able to sell hers for almost full price. Thanks ladies! I figured you'd have an idea. I really don't care about centerpieces too much but there has to be "something" there I suppose. I figured out a way to have 6 different sized candles in different glassware for about $15 per table with stuff from the Ikea website which is not bad, but requires a whole bunch of pieces of glass and candles to be ported about, and I want it to be "simple."I'll have to contact those suppliers you listed. Being out of town makes things very interesting of course, but I probably just need to call and see what they can do.Shannon - those are absolutely gorgeous! Totally out of my price range, but gorgeous!

Yes I would be interested in this. I will need about 15 of them. Pier1 has awesome hurricane candle holders that are a great size for a centerpiece. They are black rod iron stand with a pretty hurricane glass lamp. I would buy them off of you after your wedding at a discount if you wanted to work something out.
