So I went cake tasting this weekend (Divine Delicacies and Cakes by Edda). The setup at Divine Delicacies was not ideal. The store is somewhat small and there were lots of people waiting to pick up cakes (some were waiting almost 1 hr after their promised time). We tasted the cakes standing up by the counter and felt rushed. So overall the cake was yummy but all the other circumstances definitely turned me off.Then at Cakes by Edda (coral gables) they had a bigger store and 2 tables and chairs to sit down and do the tasting. Grace was very nice and took her time talking to us about all the options and she was super funny too! She had people waiting for her and she didn't rush with us and I loved that. There was more variety of cake flavors here that are included in my reception venue package. Their cake was a bit less moist than Divine Delicacies but still yummy!So I am going to go with Cakes by Edda. It'll be a fondant cake with some bling on it! heehee. I'm so excited!!!
