Photography props?

Looking at wedding photography makes me go all warm inside. Those shots of the bride's shoes with the dress as a background? I'd like that. Or the dad putting the earrings on the bride? I'd love that! And sometimes brides bring to their getting ready session props like their grandmother's this or their fiance's favourite that, so I though of bringing this:FI gifted this Anastasia (from the movie, si?) jewelry box this past Valentine's, and that's where I currently put my rings (promise + engagement) every night. It has a significance to me, and I'd love to see my rings photographed in it.Another prop I was considering but I have no idea how to include is this:Another gift from FI. It's the rose from The Beauty & The Beast (the covering dome is missing - took it of so you could see the rose with the flash and all). I am dead scared it will break. It's a one of a kind, and if it breaks ... that's it! For a wild moment I thought of having it at the reception, but I'm having children so that's asking for trouble. I'd love to see it added to my wedding in some way, but if chances are it's in danger, I'm not going to risk it.We shall see!

I say yes to the jewelry box (as long as you know it will be in a safe spot after getting ready photos) and no to the rose. It would be SO COOL to have it on your sweetheart table or something like that. But I would be devastated if it broke. You never know, kids or adults could bump into it. Not worth it.

I was definitely planning of entrusting my mama in law with it after we have to rush to the ceremony. She can put it in her purse or something. Or! Since I'm getting ready in the same room I'm having my wedding night, it should be safe. The rose on the sweetheart table is actually a very good idea! I'd just have to put it in a case, and be 100% sure it's child and clumsy-adult proof. Otherwise, like you said, it ain't worth it.
