Floral Reqs/Am I being impatient?

Ok so on Monday I emailed 3 florists who were recommended on the board as budget florists. I am having a small wedding and said that in the email. Not one of them has gotten back to me, do you think I should try calling them, or just try contacting different florists? Am I just being too impatient? Also, please let me know of any florists you would recommend.

Try giving them a phone call - while I live on my computer and check my email compulsively, some people are better with the phone.

CALL! In my experience most florists are more phone people than email people. As for which florists to check into... don't ask me I'm currently agonizing over it like no bodies business.

I don't think you are being impatient. I think that's a bit long to wait for a reply.  I would try calling them or contacting different florists.  I would also not mention the small wedding thing until you get into a meeting with them. On another note, we got quotes from several of our vendors BEFORE even mentioning it was a wedding period and saved quite a bit of money that way.  So I would keep the details to a minimum until you actually meet with someone or get them on the phone.

I agree, call. the ones i contacted i did so through phone calls. my florist emailed me only once and that was to send me a pdf copy of the contract to print and review before our meeting.

I would call - like Alissa said, many people are much better on the phone. You can try my florist in Weston - Forget Me Not Flowershop, she is wonderful to work with.

My florist was great over email but I still called her to set a meeting in person. Give them a call!
