Hello, I just joined The Knot! I did look through some recent posts and wow you girls are amazing! There is soo much information here, that I'm already freaking out. I havent started planning yet, so I am going to need help on where to even begin this journey..Thank you

Welcome, and congrats on your engagement. Probably a venue is a good place to start. If you do a post with what type of venue you are looking for, location, and general budget, you will get lots of great recommendations. This board is very helpful!Also, the checklist on the knot is pretty helpful, I haven't planned too much but it is good at telling you what you should do next (although I have about 15 overdue tasks).Happy Planning, and let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

We have not set a date yet! We dont even have a clue of where to start! We are going on vacation in 2 weeks and after that I will start planning..Its just soo many things from all the posts! Its a little overwhelming! We are two simple people who want a simple wedding! That's all i know for now!!

Welcome!!  I would say to start by putting together a guest list so you know how many people you're working with. You'll also want to narrow down a time of year and maybe even start discussing your budget.  Then, you can start to look for venues.  As others have said, the knot checklist is REALLY a good guide - it's the little checkmark at the top of the page.HTH and GL
