El Dorado Resorts in Riviera

Hello- trying to decide between the El Dorado resorts in Mexico and was wondering if anyone had any opinions. I know the Royale is the biggest, then the Seaside Suites and Moroma is the smallest.
I want luxury, and the best room we can afford. Some privacy at our room, but able to be social when we want and join in things with out load people all over us.
There needs to be some action for my FI he won't want to lay on the beach and relax all day like i want to, and excursions to go to as well.
Add a little bit of romance too.
anyone have comparisons?

We booked our honeymoon at the El Dorado Casitas (we'll be going in July). We picked it over Excellence Riviera Cancun and Secrets Maroma Beach. We felt that the other two and the hotel side of the El Dorado didn't have as much privacy and didn't seem as laid back. There always good reviews so you might want to take a look at that. We booked in the Casitas with the infinity pool.

I stayed at the Seaside Suites this past October for my HM.  We had a great time and would go back in a heart beat.  It's the perfect size to walk around.  There were so many options for bars, restaurants and beach/pool areas.  Highly recommended.

My fi's family had been staying here for years, they own a timeshare, and they usually go twice a year. I've never heard them come home complaining. The only thing they keep mentioning is that flights keep going up so they didnt go this past year. After hearing all the good things, especially all the activities there, then seeing all the pictures I'm convinced we will be going there for our HM next year. I couldn't be more excited!!
