Escort table candles help please =)

I want to do votives wrapped with vellum paper and have the persons name and table number printed on the paper. I've seen some knotties do this and it looks really pretty. This may sound dumb, but my problem is I have no idea how to make the vellum paper stick to the votive candle. Do you use regular glue or special glue to wrap it around or is there special adhesive vellum paper for this kind of project? TIA girls!!!

Have you checked Michael's? I think they sell the paper there in the wedding aisle.

They sell the paper but not the adhesive kind. Im not ure if you do this with adhesive vellum or regular ones and just glue them tougether. I'm thinking if i do that it would look messy. But im not sure if there is another way =/

hi - i think the vellum is on the inside of the glass not attached to the candle. I did this with my friend and she used and tiny piece of dbl sided tape to make it stick. Once the ends are stuck together, it just lays against the glasds perfectly. Hope I am making sense.   this may help http://www.projectwedding.com/post/list/votive-placecards

I wrapped my vases in vellum and used the Beacon 3 in 1 glue (again for sale at JoAnns).  I glued the first edge vertically in a thin line to the glass, then wrapped it around and glued another vertical thin line to the paper itself.  I had about 1/8" of overlap in the paper.

I did... PIBwe used vellum tape and vellum... it took forever, but it looked really good. also- use the battery operated candles, they're way easier.
