Oceanview Venues

I've always wanted to get married by the ocean and so far I like The Rusty Pelican and The Double Tree on Bayshore drive. Are there any other venues that are somewhat affordable $$ with a nice view?Which place has gotten better reviews?

Singer Island Hilton in Palm Beach Cty, if you don't mind a beach view/oceanview.

I don't really have any other ideas for you. I was deciding between those two places too. I eventually chose the Rusty Pelican, mainly, because they didn't seem to want to work with my small wedding size at the Doubletree. I think the room at the Doubletree is really pretty. Also, you get to have the cocktail hour outside at the Doubletree, which I haven't heard of anyone doing at The Rusty Pelican. Also, I personally think the food is better at The Rusty Pelican, but I don't really know for sure. Feel free to email me if you have other questionsjenniferl2010 at hotmail dot com

Try the Ocean Manor Resort in Ft Lauderdale.  They have a penthouse suite and 4000 sq ft balcony on the 14th floor overlooking the ocean

    Double Tree on Biscayne...

Hmm - this was me!  I always wanted views from the get-go  :)  The only thing about Rusty is that you have about 4 weddings going on at once. If one couple has their ceremony at night, no one else can have it. And if you're the last to book out of the 4 on a given day, you get the small room downstairs.I can recommend my venue - South Beach Marriott. Miami Beach resort is great and affordable, I think you would love the Doubletree.I can also recommend a beautiful waterfront mansion on Miami Beach. You get ridiculous privacy, amazing views. You can bring in your own caterer and save TONS of money (depending on how many guests you will have). Message me if you want the mansion info!

Not sure about  millenia98's experience with the Rusty Pelican, but mine wasn't like that. When I booked they told me what was available on that day and I could either take it or choose another day. My email is above it you have questions.

I did the Rusty Pelican and I adored it -- the food, the view, everything. Pictures are in my married bio -- feel free to email me with any questions!

Jupiter Beach Resort! It's northern WPB, but it's on a private beach and not as expensive as Miami/Ft Laud.

Check out the Newport Beachside Resort in Sunny Isles. I am getting married there in December and they are affordable.

Check out the Miami Rowing Club.  You will need to invest rentals for the reception area and coordinate all vendors, but the place runs for about $800 for ceremony and reception and the view for the ceremony is incredible.  It's on key Biscayne.
