They sent me an email, it said that they had a lot of demand for this and they couldnt accomodate everyone, which is obviously understandable.

0o0o0... I didn't hear back yet... but I hired him for my wedding because he is SO AWESOME and if they were looking for new clients then maybe no luck for me! I will keep holding my breathe!

I doubt they are looking for more clients... I think you may still have a shot, I am sure they want to do something different that what they usually do to post on their site as a sample of their work and they are just not charging for it.
