officiant

Anyone have a reccommendation on a officiant? We are looking for someone affordable and neither of us are really religious so we're not really looking for a religious figure.

LOL - Its funny now but it wasnt at the time. We met w/two other officiants and both had zero personality and when I say zero, I mean zero (didnt even crack a smile). Then one just pulled out this binder and said ok - pick some verses you like and she made us read them right then and there and pick one. Then at the end of the meeting she whips out a contract and just assumed we were going to book w/her. After I said "Im sorry but we have other appts set up" she paused for about a minute and said "Oh, I didnt realize you were meeting w/other people or I wouldnt have wasted your time". Hellloooo, why would you just ass-u-me that our first meeting was for contract signing. Sorry had to vent. Im done! LOL

That's a hard one.  I'm going with my planner's recommendation--Father Christopher Repp.  He was a Roman Catholic Priest for 20 years, but is no longer affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church.  We wanted to keep with tradition and so he will be doing a Catholic Ceremony for us.  He is also speaks Spanish, which is important for us.  If you want to contact him, his number is 305-801-9932I haven't met with him yet (I'm in Seattle), but I did talk to him and liked him right away.  My planner's all-time favorite is reverend Milak Kralik.  He officiates ceremonies at Coral Gables Congregational Church.  I didn't call him because I really wanted a Catholic ceremony and Reverent Milan Kralik doesn't do those.  If you're not looking for a religious ceremony then you might be the one for you!  Here's his info:Milan Kralik - 305-218-4311HTH!
