Removing Veil for Reception Question

Silly question.....If you are planning on wearing a flower or some other piece in your hair, are you putting the flower in under your veil for the ceremony? Or are you putting it in after you take your veil off for the reception? I am planning on wearing a veil for the ceremony only and would like to have something in my hair for the reception but didn't know if I needed my stylist to put it in for the whole day or if I should put it in myself right before the reception.

I'm going to wear a flower in my hair under the veil...I'm assuming/hoping it will be ok? and then take the veil off after the ceremony.

I'm doing a flower and veil, I will put the flower on after the first dance when I take my veil off - I will have someone help me clip it in HTH!

I wore a veil for the ceremony and in the limo I put a silk flower in my hair (and took the veil off).

I was wondering the same thing..Not sure what I am going to do yet. Would love to see pictures of the the veil with a flower underneath to see how it would look.

i did the veil beforehand, then took it off and switched to the flower after the ceremony.

I'm skipping the veil and going just with the flower. I was going to wear a veil just for the ceremony, but a. i don't think i look good with a veil, and b. it seemed like an awful waste of money when i wasn't 100% about it.

I plan on putting it on after I remove the veil. I don't want to have a million things going on with my hair at one time. HTH!
