Lazarus Flowers

We had our first floral appt. tonight with Benny from Lazarus flowers.  He is sooo nice, he has some really good ideas and seems to love what he does.  We think we got a really good quote (much less then I was expecting).  Does anyone have any feedback on him?Phew - it's great to have our first floral appt under our belts (lol).

    Yay!!!!  I am a fan.  hehehe  Benny did my wedding last year and gave us a lot for our money.  Our flowers were AMAZING on the day of!!!  I actually even called him the day after the wedding to say thank you for my GORGEOUS flowers.  HTH and GL

    He did seem to offer a lot for the quote we received.  Since this was our first floral appt., we decided to include everything we wanted to see what the quote would be and then just subtract from there. Surprisingly, his quote was WAAAAY less than we thought especially since it included everything (ceremony, reception, personal flowers, cake table, everything).

    We haven't signed the contract yet with benny but i'm 99% sure we are. We are just kinda tweeking the contract. We also included everything and I was really surprised with the price it was GREAT! Love him and his ideas and I think we are getting ALOT of flowers and the price was amazing I can't wait to meet him in person on Monday (I'm from out of town). HTH! Good Luck Florist has been the hardest for me specially by just talking on the phone with them.

    I'm glad to hear others have liked meeting with him as much as I did.  I don't know if this offers any peace of mind but although he is not used much on the boards, he has been in business for many years.  He is known for using very fresh flowers.  He did my cousin's wedding about 15 years ago and I can still remember everyone freaking out over the size of the roses and how amazingly perfect they looked.  She used him because her best friend had used him years before that for her own fifteens (and then later used him for her wedding).  And more recently, a couple of people I know have used him for fifteens.  I have never heard anything bad about him.  Nikki - And I know florist can be a tough choice for local girls because there are so many to choose from so I can't even imagine, choosing a florist from out of town.  GL to both of you.  :)
