to put the hotel info on the stds? the inn next to our venue (same owner) offers free brunch 7 days a week as well as a free dinner buffet sun-thurs. my mom thought it may be kosher to put the hotel info (for both the inn at fox hollow and hampton inn down the way) on the save the dates. she said we'd could add prices and info about the brunch/dinner buffet. i figured id just leave our wedding website on the stds and allow our guests to look for the info there. thoughts?? i dont want to be a tacky bride.... ya know... like one who says she bought a dress for 9k in the wrong size.... :x wow. painkillers make me snarky. lol

    hahahahaha. HMM. I had a smaller STD - postcard size - (how big is yours? is there enough room?) so I just put our website on there (which has all the info).I think it would be fine to put it on, and probably easier for your older guests (my FMIL asked why I didn't do that actually... so yes, I think it's fine!)

    LOL! Oh Tess, you certainly haven't lost your sense of humor or wittiness throughout this process! I wouldnt put it and just leave the website on the STD and let guests see for themselves. You dont want to put too much info on the STD otherwise it might look cluttered. Its like not putting registry info on...

    I wouldn't say it's tacky, but how much room do you have on your STD? I think it would be sufficient enough to just put your website.

    lol jill. i told my mom that if she added the hotel stuff... im going to go register and put all that info on the stds too! i gave my sister all of our old stuff... plates, silverware, etc etc etc. all i have is a blender and a crockpot. i think it keep myself amused this week... we'll be going to register! lol

    I don't think it is tacky at all...just think the STD should provide the bare essentials (lol not the makeup, ok that was cheesy, but I laughed) I would put your wedding website on the STD and have all the info on the website.

    yayyyy registering is so fun!! exhausting but fun! we spent 8 hours at the mall...TWO meals at the mall that day! I plan on giving all our kitchen wear to Scott's brother!

    Put all that info on your website and then list your website on the STD. That way it will encourage your guests to check out your website and they can see all the hard work you put into it.
    TTC since May 2011 "Natural" BFP 1/2/2012 with cp 1/5/2012 5/2012: SA and CD 3 bloodwork perfect 6/2012: Clomid + Trigger + TI = BFN 8/2012: HSG all clear.     lol! thanks girls! i think i agree with the website. i want the std to look clean, simple and elegant. im sort of seeing it in my head and i think youre all right... it may look cluttered. and liss... holy heck. it hurts so bad to laugh but that had my in stitches! (literally!!!)

    photo? you mean in regards to the reg. or hotel prices? we locked into a set price per night at the inn :) but... i will agree with you about the reg. im just gonna be bored all week. lol. figured itd give me and fi something to do!

    The brunch and dinner prices are free as long as you are staying at the Inn :) Cool, huh??

    I like the website idea better.  But if you have internet challenged friends or family members, you can do a separate business card with that info, so it's not on the STDs
