Spray Tanning VS Tanning Bed

Ladies:I use to be addicted to going to the tanning salon & always having a nice tan. I'm curious to know do any of you get spray tanned? If so, after the first time do you already see results?

I've gotten spray tanned 2 times.  The first time was a spray tanning machine and I really did not see a difference in my color so I didnt think it was worth it.The second time I actually had someone come to my house with the spraying machine.  It took a LONG time for it to dry.  But once it dried I did have a very nice tan color.  However, the next day I noticed that the palms of my hands, my knees, ankles, and feet were ORANGE.  It looked horrible and only got worse as the days progressed.  Needless to say I will not be doing that again.This is just my personal experience.  I know people that get spray tans regularly and are very happy with the results, maybe I just didnt have someone experienced enough.

I'm a big fan of spray tans!!!I, too, was an addict to the sun/tanning bed in high school and college. I have already started seeing the results of my addiction (hi crows feet ...boooo).I used to get the mystic spray tan (the machine) and I would get very streaky. I now switched to geting sprayed by someone and I LOVE IT!! I will admit my feet sometimes get really dark but otherwise it's great (check out my siggy pic... I'm pale as anything but dark with a spray tan!)I'm getting one for my wedding. They key is to major exfoliate and shave prior to the spray, without putting on ANY lotions, etc...good luck!

Check out a Boca Tanning Club location. I am always really happy with their spray tans. I am instantly dark and the tan lasted a good 10 days. I will say that the bottom of my feet always look really dark no matter how much lotion I put on them. For an at-home option, my favorite is Too Faced Tanning Bed in a Tube from Sephora.

I really like being sprayed by someone.  They have to be well experienced though and give you lotion to put on your palms and feet (I usually put lotion on my elbows and knees before I go too). I am sorry that I don't know of anyone in Miami

I am addicted to spray tanning.  If I want to pay the extra money, I go to Forever Tan Miami near Brickell.  It's $45 a session, so it's usually for a special event.  However, if I'm just looking for a nice color, I use the booth at Sobe Tan in Dadeland Station.  I buy the package, so it comes out to $18 a pop. But the airbrush is better coverage.
