Random Question - Anti-Frizz Hair Products

This is sorta wedding related ... because I'll be doing my own hair for my rehersal dinner and quite possibly my wedding (I just want it down and long).Anyway, I'm hoping you ladies can help me with this ... I recently moved to Puerto Rico (from Boston) and I'm having a heck of a time styling my hair with the humidity here! I have quite a few products in my cabinet that claim to be anti-frizz and worked insanely well in Boston (even in the humid summer) but apparently the 24/7 humidity here is too much for them. Does anyone have a favorite thing? My main problem is fly aways on top of the head, my hair will look okay below but then it looks like I'm a crazy person with all these fly aways! Anyway, it's been a month and I'm getting desperate Thanks ladies!

I use frizz-ease spray gel by John Frieda. I feel it worked well while I was in FL, but it def works in NC.

If you have thick or coarse hair, I would recommend CHI's Silk Infusion.  The bottle is tiny and pricey, but you only use a small (like dime-size) amount and it lasts a long time.If you have fine or thin hair like I do, I recommend Biosilk, which I believe is made by the same company. The bottle is larger and also pricey, and I typically use a bit more than a dime-sized amount...like maybe a nickel-size.  HTH

I know this isn't a product, but try the Keratin hair treatment.  It doesn't damage your hair and it does miracles!!!!!  I am queen of frizzy hair, and my hair doesn't get frizzy anymore.  I did it once in February, and it has been the greatest thing I have done for my hair.  It is much easy to style as well.

Goldie - what kind of moroccan oil thing do you use? I've never heard of that before. Cinthia - I'm afraid of Keratin! I've heard so many bad things about the formaldehyde stuff and my FI is a biochemist and says it would be a really bad idea to do it and that it's very dangerous. I have heard there are non-formaldehyde versions but they're not supposed to be as good, what kind did you do?

I use the original oil - it smells great too. I got it at my salon - just a TINY bit goes a long long way.

I used the non-formaldehyde one and I was very pleased with it.  I've never dyed my hair or have done anything crazy except cut it so I too was very scared to do it, but I am very pleased with the results.  Just make sure you go to someone who knows about it if you are going to go this route.

I second Goldie - moroccan oil works wonders. You only need a little.

I just did the keratin treatment and I LOVE it. I washed my hair this morning and didn't even blow it dry and it looks great.  I have straight hair with a little wave, but frizzy galore and it's sooo soft. With that said, I also love the stuff from Living Proof and the Moroccan Oil. I used the oil and the hair mask.  Amazing stuff!

I use WEN conditioner. It's a cleansing conditioner so you only use one product. It's super moisturizing so it controls frizz. I love it and it works really well. They sell it on QVC. It's WEN by Chaz Dean. If you decide to get it, get the discovery kit so you can see which conditioner works best for you. I use lavender.

I third the morroccan hair oil! A little definitely goes a long way! It smells AMAZING!
