I dont know what I'm getting him to present at the actual RD, but as a thank you for doing everything so far I got him tickets for the Pink Floyd Experience at the Kravis Center...PF is his fave band. I think I'm also going to get him a shirt to wear the weekend of the wedding that says Father of the Bride.

i made really cute coupons for my mom and step dad and my in-laws that said, "redeem this coupon after the wedding for a custom made album from Jayme and Bobby". we made them albums from blurb.com and they came out great!  i also got tote bags for my mom and MIL that said MOB (mother of bride)  and MOG (mother of groom), they called themsleves MOB and MOG for a freaking year, it was driving me nuts.  They'd leave messages, "this is your MOG calling, and Hi Jayme its MOB", etc. We also paid for my Dads golf membership, he lost his job right before my wedding and didnt renew his golf membership which was devastating to him. We surprised him with it, he may have been more emotional with that gift than how he was at my wedding.   Good luck, it was hard trying to figure out what we were going to do.

We gave them a photobook from mypublisher.com with our e-pics and then post wedding, we did another one with the wedding pictures while they waited for the parent album from the photographer.  We also paid for the hair/make-up for both moms and gave my dad new cuff links with his initials.

we got sweet sappy cards for our parents, and promised them photo albums afterwards. we got them one through blurb.com of our photo booth pics and now they're getting a parent album and mini-books from our photographer. jilly, i LOVE the idea of a t-shirt! i got my mom a tank top and she was/is obsessed with it. i would have gotten my dad one, but he pretty much only wears yankees/giants/my alma mater shirts!the hankies are such a sweet idea, i think i'm doing that for birthdays or mommy's day next year.

I know, this is hard! For my mom and FMIL, I got hankies (PIB). For my dad and FFIL, FI is giving them monogrammed wallets (same as groomsmen). For both sets of parents, we're giving them artwork - it matches our kettubah (PIB). HTH!
