DH and I were thinking of booking a cruise to Bermuda for our anniversary next year. We’re torn between 2 ships, Royal Caribbean’s Explorer of the Seas and Holland America’s Ms Veendam. The Holland America cruise gives us 4 days in port at Bermuda while the Royal Caribbean cruise only gives 1.5 days. We just feel that 1.5 days in port isn’t enough, but maybe we’re wrong.The Royal Caribbean ship looks like it attracts a younger crowd and is more fun. Has anyone been on either of these ships? Any recommendations? TIA!!
