Are you serious?? How old are you to come onto a board and be so disrespectful...you obiviously are a sad soul!!! tsskk..tsskkk.. & to sign someones guestbook you obviously have lots of time on your hands. Nane: People throw bridal showers when ever. I have seen some knotties have it months in advance because family are in town and so on. I choose to THROW MY OWN a moth before our wedding day because we liked the date. Bridal showers are not only about gifts there about sharing with your loved ones a special day before you become Mr & Mrs..... ENJOY the planning =)

While you're at Barnes & Nobles geiting us those books, please scan the pages and post on P&E ... looks like you all need a refresher on couth. Not just in the wedding department. Just because you ladies have your showers planned in the appropriate time frame does not mean you have class or a shred of etiquette.

Wow Georgia, I knew ppl from your state were inbred, but I now I also know that sarcasm is lost on them too. The stereotype is so true! Huge imbeciles and classless.

While I do agree with the P&E girls about the whole throwing yourself a shower not being cool…..I just don’t like the rude way they come across.  That it’s acceptable on the P&E Board to come across harsh well it’s the way its done there and you enter at your own risk but when they cross over to other boards they really should be a little more tactful. They are on the money most of the time it's just the way they say things that gets everyone here.   But at any rate I believe you all should really thank beachbride0410 for this invasion.  How did she put it? Oh yeah… “I just thought to myself wow the P&E ladies would have a field day with these girls”.   http://talk.theknot.com/boards/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=62210709&forumid=9

Go laugh yourself back to your psychotic sad little world where you have to insult others to feel better about yourself. Its so sad. Its like lets wait for someone to say something WE think is not ok and attack them. Get off your f*ckin high horse BIZZO!

It never shocks me how completely sad those people are to come here every once in a while to stir trouble. Once again though, thanks for showing us what classless is.

See I thought proper etiquette and manners included offering up advice when ASKED, not attacking people out of the blue. Some of these girls sound so self-righteous...

Well thank you lmanzur for throwing me under the bus, I did post about throwing your own shower on P&E, pretty much everything gets talked about over there.  And a lot of times the girls have pretty good advice, I myself have learned a lot of things, but I also learned they can get out of hand sometimes.  While I can not take responsibility for others actions, I do want to apologize to you NANE and the other SOFL girls.  My intentions were not for all of this to happen, just a topic to bring up on P&E.  NANE don't listen to others, if  you want to throw your own shower, do it...who cares what other say.  If this is common with your friends and family and they wouldn't think twice about it, wonderful.  Others may frown upon it.

Ladies, don't get worked up because someone thinks your way is not the right way to do things. Only you know whats right and whats best for you and your situation. Just thank them for their opinion and keep on planning. :)BUT I definitely dont want to plan a wedding following 1950's etiquette! :P

Ladies -- why all the rudeness? You obviously have your opinions and you're free to express them, but it seems like your only intention in coming and posting here was to antagonize us and try to make people feel bad. Usually people who do that tend not to feel very good about themselves, so your actions are really speaking louder than words here. And it's incredibly obvious that you went off and recruited help in all of this because we're not inundated with posts from people who have never said a word on this board. The people who are replying to your comments are girls that post here every single day, so of course they're going to come out and attack you when you are outright rude for no reason. There was no reason at all for any of you to be commenting as if you're any better than anyone here. If you really think that, then instead of posting inflammatory comments, try writing something a post about yourself that's even remotely meaningful, expose yourself a little bit and level the playing field, so we can feel free to point out what we think are your shortcomings. And personally Nane, I love the idea of the Britto party. I'm doing a candy bar at my wedding and it's been so fun planning it =) Good luck!
