Escort cards?

What size are they usually?  I read that 2"x3" is standard size.  That seems awfully small to me, especially if you have a design element on it--not enough room to write couples' names or long names.What size are yours?

Escorts cards can be anything or any size you want them to be. They dont even need to be cards.For ours, I'm making little wooden directional signs out of popsickle sticks and sticking them in a little sand box. I wanted them to be similar to the one at the beach we are getting married at:
