Earliest for Bride to be ready? What do you think?

Ladies:My ceremony is at 4:00 PM, I plan on leaving hotel at 3:00 PM (just in case I run on Cuban time lol) Anyways, my photographer said for me to have hair/make up done by 12pm & put dress on at 1pm. Don't you think this is too early? To have my make up on since 12pm being that my ceremony is 4 hours later? I know she wants bridal portraits but I think it's too early. What do you think? What did you do or plan on doing?

I'll be watching this post since I'm curious about this too!

I think that's way too early. If it were me, I'd want my makeup actual being completed maybe 30 mins tops before I start taking pictures. I would not want it to be done 4 hours before my ceremony.

My wedding is at 4 also and my photog said to be ready hair and makeup at 1:30 p.m. Then I would put my dress on to start taking pictures.

That seems waay too early.  By the time you get to the ceremony, your make up will definitely not be fresh at all.  I'm not the best with timing but that really does seem way too early.  ;o/  I hope someone who went through this can respond and give you a better idea!

my wedding was at 6. i had hair done at 1 at a salon and makeup at 4:30 at the hotel. i waited for the photogs to get there so they could capture the whole getting ready. i put on my dress at 5:15....eventhough i had time i felt rushed and stressed and i did not want to run on cuban time lol so i think you should start at 1. have you had a trial hair/makeup? that way you know how long they take.
