So as of 2-3 days ago...the date was September 25, 2010. I hadn't picked a reception site and my church was on hold. However, yesterday morning my mom told me that she had heard that the venue we wanted that was WAY OVER OUR PRICE RANGE had other months for cheaper. I called them up and in fact moving the date from September to August saves us approx $1000! So now it is moved to August 28. Frantically I called the church and the caterers about the date switch but they were all fine with it.
So all papers and contracts should be signed by next week at the latest! YAY!!!! Thats a little weight lifted. Even though now Im a little freaked out about it being a month closer. Is there anything you suggest I need to get on top of if my wedding is in August? Besides those three things and looking a couple of dresses online.. nothing else has been done. Thanks ahead of time for advice and letting me vent.
