Centerpieces

So my new obsession is short centerpieces... What do you ladies think about having all low centerpieces with candles, instead of tall centerpieces? We are having our reception in a ballroom with high ceilings so I am afraid if we don't do any tall CP's it might look strange.

I honestly think you should def. not do all low centerpieces. They tend to get lost in the room once everyone is sitting down on the tables. I've noticed this more if the tables are small (ie. 60" round) I recommend alternating between high and low centerpieces. That way you will have your favorite lows and also get some dimension with the high centerpieces. You def. don't want it to look like you don't have flowers.

I agree with Vanessa.  I'm doing 2 royal tables in the middle with low cp and round tables on the perimeter of the room with the high candelabras

I am not a fan of tall centerpieces, so i am doing lanterns surrounded with hydrangeas. Do whatever you want, its about what you think looks good, if you think it feels right then go for it! (Thats what i keep telling myself every day!)

I had both high and low and honestly I loved my low centerpieces more than  my high ones...go with what you like...your opinion is the one that counts. Good Luck!

I agree with Vanessa. The low centerpieces might be too low if the the ceiling is very high. Sford I'm having the same layout in the alhambra room :)

We did all low centerpieces in a room with a high ceiling and it was beautiful - not strange at all :)

Thanks ladies. I think I might have to go with high / lows if we go with all round tables. I have been considering the royal tables for the wedding party though, but need to go to the site again and see how this will work.
