Barbados anyone?

Has anyone here been to Barbados? I'm looking for a romantic spot (typical honeymoon) but I would love to hear where you stayed! TIA!

Hi! We went to Barbados in October after our HM to Anguilla was cancelled twice because of hurricanes. We stayed at the Crane, which is very nice and secluded. Trouble is, it's not close to anything. We rented a car after a cab ride to dinner cost $100! Other than that, it was gorgeous, amazing, romantic, perfect. Definitely stay on the west side of the island, where the Hilton is. They are opening a Four Seasons too, but I'm not sure when. Make sure you visit Oistins Fish Fry on a Friday night. My husband is a foodie and we went there for the restaurants... If you decide to go and would like suggestions, just PM me! Good luck! Edit: DH just reminded me that the Fairmont was a close second for us... It's gorgeous.

My FI and I stayed at 'Sandy Lane' in Barbados this past spring...it's GORGEOUS and romantic. My FIL's treated us, so I can't speak to cost but I think it's up there in the price range. I highly recomend 'The Fish Pot' and 'Tides' restaurants, delicious! For Tides, request to sit along the beach - they have one whole wall that's completely open and overlooks the ocean, it was beautiful
