I have to start writing them for our engagement party. Does anyone have a good template so to speak for what to say thats short and sweet? I know you're supposed to mention the gift they brought you, but knowing myself, I'd go on for days. TIA!!

    I said something like ... It was so great to see you .... Thank you for the ..... We cant wait to see you at the wedding. Thank you for sharing this special time in our lives with us!

    Thats perfect thanks Vic! I knew thats what it was supposed to sound like, I just couldnt put it into words myself. Ahhhh its been so long since I took a writing class lol!

    lol I'm nervous about it bc after writing a while my handwriting looks like chicken scratch. I wish they could be typed but thats a def no-no! I want to start them tonight and hopefully get them out this week...wishful thinking?

    You can do it, Jilly! Do a few each day this week and mail them all out on saturday???Jilly, did you get special cards? or just regular hallmark thank you cards?

    I like what you wrote Alissa. I think I will do half your way and half Vicki's way, just to switch it up. I need to learn to write succinctly so I dont sound like a blabbering idiot. Jess, FMIL got us cards at the flea market and had them personalized with Jillian and Scott on the front. Half are black and white stripes and the other half are black and white polka dots. They have adorable ones at Target though!!
