Cruise privacy

for those of you who took your honeymoon, do you feel like you had enough privacy on your cruise?  My FI and I keep going back and forth between resort and cruise and one the big factors is privacy.  Both of us having been on cruises in the past know there are people always around, I wonder if thise affected your over all honeymoon?

I never felt crowded on the cruise.  We had a balcony room and a provate dinner table.  I think those 2 things helped.

I think the balcony helps, but I did feel crowded when we went on the cruise, especially at the pool/deck where people were fighting over chairs (and would get up at 6am to save chairs).

I didn't hm on a cruise but have been on many. i've never felt crowded-the balcony room, having breakfast room serviced and going to the specialty restaurants on board may have made a difference. i have felt more crowded at some resorts though....

ali : Why did you feel more crowded at a resort? I definitetly want a balacony. I've cruised before but that was family cruises so I enjoyed all the people and everything I just wondered if I would feel it was too croweded on my honeymoon. However I fear a resort could be boring, ya know.

I wrote SOME resorts, not all, jut want to make that clear. i dont know why it felt more crowded, more people maybe-less chairs, less restaurant options, etc..
