rehearsal dinner help

We will be hosting our rehearsal dinner ourselves and are having a hard time coming up with ideas of where to hold it - we need something slightly inexpensive.   Please help with suggestions in the Cleveland (west and south side) THX

Re: rehearsal dinner help

  • What do you consider inexpensive? We had ours at Antonio's at parmatown. While they don't have a party room, they have a HUGE secondary dining room. We used a portion of that for our 25-person party and it worked out well. The room holds up to 60 or so, IIRC. Pricing was in the neighborhood of $15/pp, plus alcohol (my ILs paid for one alc. bev. per person and beyond that people had to buy their own). Great food there! We did a regular plated entree, but if you did a pizza buffet (awesome pizza!), it would probably save you some cash.

If you are looking for a place with an actual party room, Santo's in Middleburg Hts. has one that holds up to 50 people. Their food is excellent and pricing is similar to Antonio's.

  • We are hosting our rehearsal dinner at John Christ Winery, to rent you are required to purchase a case of wine (DARN! hehe).  We are having Scott's Fire & Ice serve dinner.  They have a mobile unit that makes fresh wood fired pizza and homemade gelato!  The prices range from $12-$18/person allyou can eat...and the food is AMAZINGGGGG!!!

  • We had a very small, low-key rehearsal dinner at Dewey's Pizza in Lakewood. There were 20 of us (WP and parents), and they accomodated us in the main dining room. For pizza, salad and alcohol it was about $200, so about $10 PP.

  • We wanted ours to be casual so we went with Winking Lizard in Lakewood.  they have a nice party room upstairs and there were several options which were reasonbly priced.
