What are you girls doing or planning on doing as a cake toppers?I really like the monogram cake toppers, but I think I am a romantic at heart and have been looking for a cute couple, maybe a kissing couple....What are your thoughts?

I love love love my cake toppers and I don't even have them yet! I'm having 4" mini-versions of us in our actual wedding attire made by Nicole Clark (www.nicolewclark.com). She made ones for my friend that I gave her as a gift and they were adorable. She's also making a mini-version of our cat! I'm getting them soon and they will be featured in pictures that will be our table numbers. I really can't wait

That should be 4-6" ... meaning FI will be 6" and I'll be like 4.5" LOL (she makes them to scale)

I will probably have an F for our last name and flowers around it, or just flowers. But the kissing couple sounds cute. Maybe you can find a precious moments one.

The design of our cake includes sugar flowers, so that's all I'm putting.But I like the idea of the couple.

I am using a "B" cake topper that an amazing married knottie is letting me borrow! If you're a romantic at heart and want the cute kissing couple, i think you should consider bluebook's idea. I think it's adorable!

i'm torn between the monogram and the people also.  i love the wood people by goosegrease on etsy and it would fit my wedding better but it's way more expensive than the letter.  jury is still out......  the kissing couple is a great idea! it will be very cute

I really really want to do custom bobble heads for our topper. But it's $250 and I don't think I can spend that much. So we'll see.

Karen, are you having your bobble heads customized to look like you both? How much are you paying? I just found them for $189.99.. better than the $250 I first found. So I'm debating. I still have a while before I need to make a decision.

Edda's is making our cake topper to match our cake. Since we could only find "M"s in silver and they would clash with our cake. It's going to be the same shade of light gold as the fondant on the cake.

Lynette, I am not sure exactly yet. I have plenty of time and my sis was at a wedding where they had them and her friend told her that they werent that much (and they did their wedding on less of a budget than I am). My sis is going to look into it. Let me know if you find someone good and I will let you know if I do.

I like the idea of the crystal monogram, but I'm not changing my last name, so there will be flowers on top.
