Alright here I go wooohoo... 1. First Name & FI's First name and wedding date? Kim & Alain. April 18, 2010 (Day after our anniversary...all the places we looked at were booked on our actual anniversary date) 2. Where did you go to college? Angelo State University in Texas. Now doing my Nurse Practioner at Barry University 3. What part of the world do you live in? Miami, Fl 4. How did you and FI Meet? This sounds bad lol. I was taking my brother out for his 18 bday to a club. He was there stationed in my town his first weekend. 5. How long have you been together? Almost 7 years. 6. Do you live together? Why or why not? Yes, I tried to find a place on my own when I moved here but it was crazy what I would have to pay. Than his parents gave us the great house they were renting...we bought it from them aka our first home. 7. How did FI propose? I threw him a suprise 80's theme bday party with tons of friends and family (over 100 people were there). He proposed when I brought out the cake and he started making some kind of speech about something was missing. I remember bits and pieces because I was so confused what he was rambling on about. Turns out he said what was missing was (as he bent down one knee) asking me as his wife. Our kids are going to wonder what era we were in cause we are both dressed in cheesy 80's gear in the pics. 8. How long of an engagement are you having/did you have? Why? omg...too long lol. lil over 2 yrs. We are paying for the wedding ourselves and wanted to save. Plus, we have the rest of our lives to be married to each other. no rush. 9. Favorite wedding vendor so far? David Acuna Photography, even though hes not our photog he took our contest epics and we made a great friend out of it! 10. Biggest piece of wedding advice you can share so far? If you throw an expensive wedding people will say you spent too much for it. If you throw a small wedding people will say how it could've been nicer. Do what WE want! 11. What do you do for a career? What does FI do? I'm a nurse. he is a firefighter 12. Do yo think you could be/will ever be a stay at home mama? No, I love my job too much! 13. Do you want children? Any potential names yet? yes i want 3. he wants 2 and NO GIRLS. hes going to get a girl lol 14. Do you have any pets? Names? Yorkie dog. Her name was already Chanel, we tried to change it. didn't work so her fufu name stayed 15. Do you have any siblings? 2 bro. one a mechanical engineer and older a captain in the Air Force 16. What is your favorite food? COUNTRY FRIED STEAK! The texas in me. 17. What is your favorite movie? The Notebook 18. What is your favorite drink? (Alcohol and Non-Alcohol). Madori Sour and Mango Tea 19. What is the hardest part of wedding plans for you? Cutting out people on the guest list. We already cut out 150 people from our original list 20. Where are you honeymooning? Thinking about Alaska Cruise 21. What is the best thing you learned on The Knot? Knotties are so helpful and its wonderful to see, plus all the DIY 22. What's one city you would love to live in for a year? Austin, TX 23. What do you love most about your FI? He is very romantic but also has the manly macho Cuban side. Kim!!! Loved learning about you - your proposal is amazingggggggggggggg!!!!!!!! I want to see pix!!!! My FI banned me from watching The Notebook because I cry so hard and can't breathe for hours after watching, hahahaha.

Thanks for sharing, an Alaskan Cruise would be awesome! Everyone seems to love the Notebook, somehow, I never saw that movie, I am going to have to rent it or catch it on TV!
