Bridal Shower

Hi Ladies,
My MOH and BM's are driving me crazy asking me what I want to do for my Bridal Shower and where I would like to have it. I think it's nice that they are asking, but wish they would also come up with suggestions...

Have any of you had a Bridal shower in the Ft.Lauderdale/Miami area?
Where did you have it? Where else did you go look?
If you could have it any other way, what would you have done differently?

So far I suggest one banquet hall and one restaurant.
Also, I am unsure as to whether I would like to have a couples shower or just women...
That will also determine on where it would be.
If it's just ladies, what do you guys think of a traditional bridal shower then after host a passion/langerie party for my close friends?

Thanks for your time ladies!

Re: Bridal Shower

  • I'm having mine at Brio in Gulfstream Park. They have a few small private rooms that worked out nicely.

  • Hi! I had all women and then invited my fiance/ father and father in law to come in towards the end. We played  games, opened gifts --- it is really such a special day that gets you even more excited for your Big Day.

I work at Delano Hotel in Catering, we have some nice areas to host a shower. Check out www.delano-hotel.com and see if you like it.

  • I like the idea of a hotel meeting room. Bridal showers can be rowdy – lol – and privacy is a must! In a hotel meeting room you have it all. I’ve seen a meeting room at the Hampton Inn & Suites Miami Brickell Downtown (http://www.hamptoninnmiamibrickell.com/) that has a nice pool view and it can be connected to the pool area. It looks very nice. But, because it is in downtown, parking is paid ($18).

The Hampton Inn Coconut Grove (http://www.hamptoninncoconutgrove.com/) is an option. They have good meeting rooms and free parking.
