dress regret?!

Uh oo.. I love my dress but watching Say Yes to the Dress and commercials for Amsale girls I am scared I want a different dress! I have to say I haven't seen it in 6 months so I don't know but now I am thinking I really want the one I went in to buy that mom vetoed. :( ahhhh I hate that you have to buy the dress so early!

Thats why I haven't watched that show in awhile! Sorry this happened to you. I've gone through this a few times. I would try your dress on to see if it makes you feel better

I'm totally on the same boat. I'm normally a very pragmatic and decisive person. I. feel like I'm going crazy! We have to stay away from TLC!!

Ahh!!! Stop watching TV. This is why I limit my TV watching (of wedding shows). Sorry you are feeling this way. Hopefully once you try her back on, you'll fall in love with her all over again.

I went through this too! A couple months after ordering it, but before I received it, the low-quality pictures of me wearing the dress were all I had and I got really bummed, thinking I should have tried on more dresses, but I was reassured by my MOH to just trust my decision -- I was in love with it when I tried it on. So, when it came in and I tried it in, I was positive that this was certainly THE ONE....Good thing too, because I don't have the time nor the money to get another dress! Lol

I felt the same way until I tried on my dress for the fittings a month before the wedding.  It's normal.  Try not to let it affect you.

I had a dress for my original wedding date (Nov. of last year), but since we moved back the wedding, changed the date, changed venues, etc., I became less and less thrilled with my dress. I still think my first dress was beautiful, however, it just wasn't the look I was any longer going for. So I put it for sale and another, former knottie purchased it.

My mom gifted me my new dress, and when I first tried it on I knew it was the one. None of the dresses I wore after it gave me the same feeling. I will say that I don't think I loveee my dress. I feel like there are much more beautiful dresses out there I could have gone with, that are more suited to my tastes, but honestly, I hate the wedding planning process, and I just wanted something I liked, and didn't want my mom to spend a fortune on something I'm wearing only once. I didn't want the dress process to be dragged out, so I kinda feel like I settled. But I simply stay away from dress stores, shows like 'Say Yes to the Dress,' etc., and I'm satisfied with my dress.
